My name is Lauren Cook. I was born in Columbus, Georgia and now I call Marietta home. I have a wonderful husband named Drew and two awesome children named Quinn (age 8) and Noelle (age 2). I received my Early Childhood Education degree from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!).
This is my twelth year teaching elementary school and my first year as a STEM coordinator at Austin. You may remember me from third grade at Austin, but I've also been a first grade and kindergarten teacher at Woodward Elementary as well. I have endorsements in Mathematics and Gifted Instruction and I'm a proud math and science nerd.
My favorite place to be in on the Chattahoochee river with my family. So many of my favorite hobbies center around the river. We love kayaking, fishing, hiking, and camping on the weekends. I hope the bring my love of the great outdoors into the STEM classroom where we can learn more about how to keep our world beautiful.
