Our Classroom Behavior Plan

Throughout the year I will be using ClassDojo to manage behavior. Using this, students will be able to receive positive points for good behavior and negative points for behavior that needs to be worked on.

At the end of the day, every student will receive a number in his or her agenda. That number corresponds with the amount of points received that day. Everyday the points will start over. If your child receives the most points that day, they will receive a star next to their number and a penny. At the end of the week, students with pennies will receive a chance to buy themselves a small educational tool from our class prize box.

I love using ClassDojo, because it is a wonderful way for you to keep track of what’s going on in our classroom. You will be able to download the app on your phone for free, so that you may monitor your child’s points each day. You may contact me through the app yet, just like with email, please send urgent matters to the office. I cannot guarantee a response right away.

When you download the app, you will also be able to see photos and updates of your child throughout the weeks at school.

You will receive a code for download on the first day of school. I hope to have 100% parent participation in our ClassDojo!

Thank you,

Ms. Asher
