Dear Parents,

I am very excited about this upcoming school year. We have many fun activities and units planned at Austin for this year. Students will learn how to play many exciting sports such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, floor hockey and flag football, as well as units on indoor/world games. We will also be participating in the Fitnessgram assessment this year!

Please remember that Crocs and sandals, will not be allowed for PE. Students are required to wear tennis shoes/sneakers on days that they have PE. If your child does not come in the proper attire, he or she will not be allowed to participate on that day. Also, lost clothing articles will be brought up to the lost and found located in the clinic (next to the main office) every Friday morning. If there are any special accommodations that I can make for your child, please let me know. I’m looking forward to a great and exciting year at Austin.
