I have been teaching for 24 years. Austin has been my home for the last 20 years. Wow, time goes by fast! I have taught Technology for 3 years and Kindergarten for 17 years at Austin. I also taught 2nd grade for 3 years and Pre-K for 1 year at other schools.
I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors of Science and Masters degree in Early Childhood Education.

I have been married for 21 years to a wonderful husband. We have two loving children. My son is 16 years old and is going into 11th grade. My daughter is 13 years old and going into 9th grade. We also have 2 adorable dogs named Athena and Cookie.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am often taking my kids to and from their sports and activities. I also enjoy going to the movies, hiking, camping, traveling, running, trying new restaurants, football, pickle ball, and playing tennis.
