Austin Students Advance in Social Studies Fair

The DeKalb County School District Social Studies Fair was held on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at the Administrative and Instructional Complex. The academic competition included 92 projects from 36 elementary schools. After a day of student interviews, thirty-one (31) projects were selected to advance to the East Metro Regional Social Studies Fair that will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at the DCSD Administrative and Instructional Complex. Special awards were also given to the student with the top project in each discipline.
