Ms. Christensen
Ms. Hallie Christensen was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but her family moved when Ms. Christensen was five so that she could go to go to the best school in the land: Austin Elementary. Ms. Christensen went to some other schools after Austin, and, eventually, she graduated from high school. After she did, Ms. Christensen attended Auburn University, the best college in the land. She's a big Auburn fan...War Eagle! Once she graduated from Auburn, Ms. Christensen came back to Atlanta and worked in the after-school program at Holy Innocents' and went to the Schenck School so that she could become a certified Orton-Gillingham teacher. Ms. Christensen then decided to work at Austin since she liked it so much, and she has been working here in second grade for three years now.
Ms. Christensen has a pretty big family: three sisters and one brother. Their names are Caroline, Ansley, Emily, and Alexander. Caroline is out of college and is married to Matt, whom she met at Miami University. They have a baby daughter, Mary Grace, and they live in Dunwoody. Ansley is a student at Auburn and is working on becoming a teacher. Emily attends Dunwoody High School, and she loves to dive. Alexander goes to UGA and is majoring in communications.
Ms. Christensen loves being a teacher to second graders. She also loves traveling, Chipotle, art, animals, reading, swinging, Auburn, learning new things, being outside, Disney, shopping, and being with her family and friends.
