Mrs. Conoley's Behavior Plan
Welcome to Kindergarten!
Class Dojo: What Is
It?
This year in our
classroom, I will be using Class Dojo to keep track of student
behavior and as a school-to-home communication system. Class Dojo is a
website/app that allows students to earn points for making good
choices and following rules in the classroom. Points can also be deducted
when students need to be reminded of classroom expectations.
How Will We Use
It In the Classroom?
Every student will have an individual Class Dojo account that will keep track of his or her points throughout the week. When you sign up, you will be able to see all of your child’s points from home along with any teacher comments about behavior. Each week, I will set a mystery number of points that the students are aiming to earn. At the end of each week, students who receive enough points will earn "Fun Free Friday" where they are allowed 15 minutes of choice activities at the end of the day.
Please encourage your child to follow the rules of the school and our classroom to ensure that we have a great environment for listening and learning. Our class rules are:
Follow directions and listen to teacher
Respect others and their things
Raise hand to get teachers attention
Quiet voice
Be kind
There will also be an opportunity to fill a classroom Pom Pom jar and each table to earn table points for treats, stickers, etc.
This will be discussed on Curriculum Night but please feel free to ask any questions you may have until then.
